About Anaïs Miryam
You found me! Hello!
I’m currently a third-year animation student at the University for the Creative Arts.
I love to tell stories through my animations, giving people a voice and exploring new artistic ways to express myself.
My favourite medium to animate in is traditionally, on paper. It lets me connect more with the paint and pastels, to externalise my thoughts and feelings. The textures created in that process feel more authentic to me and more fun.
Generally speaking, I love animating in 2D, frame by frame. It’s tedious work, but soooo worth it. If I’m not animating analogue, I tend to go for a 2D digital approach; however, I have also dabbled in 3D for my one-minute film ‘Morning Mist’. I love trying new things and even taught myself to play the flute just to add it to my 2-minute film ‘Sea Star’ (I’m not very good, but the point is I did it).
I love going out into nature with my bird book and spotting birds. If someone has any binoculars, please send them my way, until then I’ll continue squinting into the distance.
I’d love to connect with you! All that information is on the ‘contact’ page!
